RECIPE WEDNESDAY WITH CHEF TOM: Skinny Mini Sandwich

RECIPE WEDNESDAY WITH CHEF TOM:
As part of National School Breakfast Week, here is a tasty and delicious breakfast sandwich that is packed with a ton of whole grains.






Ingredients:
1 One Republic™ 100% Whole Wheat Skinny Bun
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 Tablespoon diced red peppers
1 Tablespoon diced green peppers
2 Egg whites, beaten ( separate two large eggs using whites only)
1/2 Ounce sliced ham, warmed
1 Tablespoon Roasted Red Pepper Hummus


DIRECTIONS
In a pan heat1 tablespoon of olive oil. Place diced peppers into the pan, cook and stir for 15 seconds. Add beaten egg whites to peppers and cook until desired doneness. Fold to fit Skinny Bun. Removed top of skinny bun. Spread hummus onto the bottom bun, cover with warm ham and top with cooked egg mixture. Replace top.
