It’s the New Year and you know what that means … Time to make your resolutions. Most will be trying to shed those holiday pounds – or just pounds you gained from your year of fun. A great way to keep healthy would be to follow the Mediterranean Food Pyramid.
The pyramid tells you what to eat daily, weekly and monthly.
What to Eat Daily
Breads and whole grains need to be implemented into your daily meal. For us, that means our delicious
flatbreads and
pita breads.
Beans, Legumes and Vegetables are the next level on the pyramid. These things can come in the form of raw vegetables and fruits, or can include some of our tasty spreads like
Hummus and
Baba Ghanouj.
Olives, a Mediterranean staple food, are included in the levels of the pyramid that should be eaten daily, so indulge away!
What to Eat Weekly
Cheese and yogurt are suggested to be eaten weekly to maintain a healthy diet. Once a week, you could treat yourself to our tasty

What to Eat Monthly
Sitting alone at the top of the Mediterranean pyramid are meats. This means that once a month, plan on incorporating some type of red meat into your meals. We suggest adding some of our
