Grecian Delight Foods Quality Assurance
Always an industry leader in Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Grecian Delight is pleased to announce we are currently pursuing level 2 SQF certification in lieu of our Cook & Thurber annual audit. SQF (Safe Quality Food) is an internationally recognized certification program that was developed to bring a new consistency of audits among suppliers in all global markets. SQF is the new standard for retailers and foodservice providers internationally and Grecian Delight Foods is excited to be among the first in the foodservice industry to anticipate this critical and credible qualification for food safety.
Ultimately linking all parts of the supply chain from raw material production to finished goods distribution, SQF certification is a two step process that includes an intensive desk audit and a rigorous facility audit. Grecian Delight successfully completed the desk audit our facility audit will take place in May. Historically, we were able to share our updated Cook & Thurber audit results in early April. Due to the intense two step process for SQF, we anticipate sharing our final SQF audit results with you in May. Look for our announcement here!
